Forecasts are estimates

The forecasts and maps are computed automatically from weather model data. They can be wrong, late or missing, and are provided “as is”, without any warranty. Do not rely on them where safety, health or property is at stake: follow the warnings of your national weather service.

Using the site

You may use the site freely for your own purposes. Do not overload it, for example with automated bulk requests, or try to break into or disrupt it.

Data and licences

The forecasts use data from NOAA GFS, ECMWF and DWD ICON; place names come from GeoNames and the base map from OpenStreetMap through OpenFreeMap. Their licences and attributions are listed on the About page and in the footer. ECMWF and DWD do not endorse WeatherXP.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, WeatherXP is not liable for any loss or damage arising from using the site or relying on its forecasts.

Changes

These terms may change. The date above shows the latest version; using the site after a change means you accept it.
